2nd Intermediate Period. Circa 1650-1550 BC. Steatite scaraboid (18x13mm). Back is carved with a lion, cleverly shaped to fill the space. Face depicts coiled cord pattern. Small chips and some wear on high points. Pierced. Cf. CNG 93, lot 1977 for similar cord pattern.
