New Kingdom. 18th-19th Dynasties (1543-1189 BC). Steatite scaraboid (17x12mm). Back designed in the form of a nicely-detailed African head. Face depicts the hieroglyphs for “luck to the son of Amun.” A well preserved and desirable specimen. Cf. Rowe 648.
