[BMC Greek] Poole, Reginald Stuart, et al. A Catalogue of the Greek Coins in the British Museum. (Bologna, All 1963-1965 Forni reprint eds). 29 vols. complete with plates of coins illustrated, with introduction, concordance, and indices. Hardbound in matching dark blue covers with gilt lettering. The Forni reprint of one of the world’s most important public collections of Greek coins, covering almost the entire Greek world (excepting the Indo-Greeks). Highly important for all of the detailed supplementary numismatic and historical material contained. Essential for the Greek numismatist and collector. Clain-Stefanelli 1888*. A well used set. One hinge on Caria, Troas, Palestine, Phoenicia, and Arabia volumes broken and the text is loose or nearly so. Hinges weak but intact on Lydia, Cyrenaica and Parthia volumes. All others intact and OK. Overall set exhibits some shelf wear and signs of use. Overall a Very Good set.
