Manufactured circa 1909 or later. STATE RAILWAYS, Banner, inscribed PASS FIRST CLASS on ornamented background; all within angled quadrilobe; additional stellar ornament in legend / Large radiate sphere engraved with the number 30; CHIEF COMMISSIONER RAILWAYS N.W., O. & R. AND E.B. RYS. Cf. Baldwin’s 81, lot 3412 (for a similar issue in silver). As made, hold with suspension loop attached.
