THESSALY, Kierion. Circa 350-300 BC. Æ Trichalkon (20mm, 7.45 g, 3h). Head of Apollo right / KIEPI/EΩN around from lower left, Zeus advancing right, hurling thunderbolt, with eagle perched on outstretched arm; to right, Arne half-kneeling to her left, playing with knucklebones. Cf. Rogers 178 (arrangement and spelling of ethnic); BCD Thessaly II 108.1 var. (arrangement of ethnic); HGC 4, 676. Good VF, dark green patina.
