Egypt. New Kingdom. 18th Dynasty. Reign of Tuthmosis IV, circa 1401-1387 BC. Steatite scarab (20x14mm). Base with two cartouches both reading r’ mn hprw, a name of Tuthmosis IV. Back finely carved with defined legs, head, clypeus, and wings. Pierced for suspension. Minor wear on base and back, otherwise a good example.
