CALABRIA, Tarentum. Circa 325-280 BC. AR Diobol (10mm, 1.02 g, 11h). Head of Athena right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with Skylla throwing a stone / Herakles crouching right, strangling the Nemean Lion to right, [symbol above back of lion]. Cf. Vlasto 1322–4 and 1327–9; HN Italy 976. Good Fine, toned, edge filed to make round, presumably for placement in jewelry.
