Hadrian. AD 117-138. Æ Sestertius (30mm, 21.30 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck AD 134-138. Bareheaded and draped bust right / [EXERCITVS]/ SYRIAC[VS/ S C], Emperor on horsing right, saluting three soldiers standing left, each holding signum. RIC II 936 var. (bust type); BMCRE 1690 note; Banti 286. Fine, rough tan-brown surfaces. Rare, particularly so with this bust type.
