ISLANDS off CILICIA, Elaeussa Sebaste. Marcus Aurelius & Lucius Verus. AD 161-169. Æ (23mm, 8.21 g, 12h). Marcus Aurelius and Lucius Verus standing facing one another, clasping hands; star-in-crescent between / Turreted, veiled, and draped bust of Fortuna right. RPC IV online 4921.1 = SNG France 1168 = von Aulock, KM I 4 = RG 1 (as Sebaste in Paphlagonia; same rev. die). Near VF, brown patina, some roughness. Very rare, with RPC citing only two other specimens.
