LYDIA, Mostene. Commodus. AD 177-192. Æ (35mm, 22.46 g, 12h). Ny. Maternos, archon. Struck circa AD 182-184. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Apollo-Mên on horse trotting right, holding labrys; lighted altar below; to right, Hermes standing facing, head left, leading horse and holding caduceus; cypress tree in background to right. RPC IV online 1343 (citing four examples; same obv. die as illustration). VF, brown patina, some minor roughness. Very rare.
