ITALY, Napoli (Regno). Ferdinando I (Don Ferrante). 1458-1494. AR Coronato (27mm, 4.01 g, 10h). Fourth Coinage, Class 3, Group a. Napoli (Naples) mint. Struck 1488-1491. Crowned and armored bust right / Archangel Michael, holding spear and shield, slaying dragon; pelleted cross on spear end. Cf. CNI XIX 613 (for type); cf. Pannuti-Riccio 18 (same); MIR 70; MEC 14, 997. Good VF, toned, hard green and brown deposits on reverse.
