Trajan. AD 98-117. Æ Sestertius (34mm, 25.95 g, 7h). Rome mint. Struck circa AD 104/5-107. Laureate bust right, wearing aegis (or slight drapery?) / The Danube standing left, placing knee on Dacia, whom he forces to the ground. RIC II 558 corr. (Tiber); Woytek 199b or c; Banti 230-5. Near VF, reddish-brown patina with tan highlights, flan crack. Scarce.
