Theodosius. 8th century. PB Seal (26mm, 13.20 g, 12h). [+ΠΡ]ЄCBЄI[AIC THC ΘЄOTOKOV] around cruciform monogram, probably reading ΑΓΙΑ TPIAC O ΘЄOC HMωN / [+BOHΘЄI Tω Δ]OVΛω [ΣΟΥ?] around monogram reading ΘЄOΔOCIω. BLS I 1639. Good VF.

Following Zacos’ reading of the obverse monogram (see BLS, p. 882) , the entire text of the seal would be: “Holy Trinity, our God, help thy servant Theodosius, through the intercessions of the Mother of God.”
