THESSALY, Larissa. Circa 356-342 BC. AR Hemidrachm (15mm, 3.04 g, 5h). Head of the nymph Larissa facing slightly left, wearing ampyx and necklace / Horse standing right, preparing to lie down. Lorber, Hoard phase L-III; BCD Thessaly –; Hermann Group VII, p. 42, pl. V, 18; Giessener Münzhandlung 44 (3 April 1989), lot 282 (same dies). Near EF, some light die rust and granularity, flan flaw on the reverse. Rare denomination.
