VISIGOTHS, Gaul. Uncertain king. 415-507. AR Siliqua (15mm, 1.37 g, 12h). Pseudo–Ravenna mint in Gaul (Narbonne?). Struck in the name of Honorius, circa AD 415. Pearl-diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Roma seated left on cuirass, holding Victory on globe and spear; PSRV. RIC X 3703 (R4); RSC 36. VF, roughness and scratches. Rare.

In his commentary on the coinage of the reign of Honorius in RIC (p. 135), Kent notes that siliquae with the PSRV mintmark were probably struck by the Visigoths in Gaul and connects the coinage to similar issues struck in the name of Priscus Attalus (RIC 3701-2).
