CILICIA, Anazarbus. Maximinus I. AD 235-238. Æ Hexassarion (38mm, 20.44 g, 2h). Laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right / Female figure standing facing, head left, before bull standing left, holding bipennis over shoulder. Ziegler 663 (Vs2/Rs4); SNG France –; SNG Levante 1480 (same obv. die). Near VF, dark green patina, flan split. Struck on a broad flan. Extremely rare - Ziegler records just two specimens, the Levante specimen and another in the ANS.
