Two Byzantine-style, diademed and draped facing busts, similar to that found on coinage of Heraclius and his son; AH date above / Name of Abbasid Caliph al-Nasir, partial mint formula and name and pedigree of Qutb al-Din Il-Ghazi in five lines across field and in margins. Whelan Type I; S&S Type 32.3; Album 1828.2. VF, brown patina, porosity, cleaning marks and small areas of bronze disease.
