gramatteus. Confronted busts of Caracalla right and [Geta] left, both laureate, draped, and cuirassed; c/m: ΘЄOY within rectangular incuse / Zeus Panamaros on horseback right; altar to right. SNG von Aulock 2685; SNG Copenhagen – (but cf. 512 for same obv. die); for c/m: Howgego 536. Near VF, brown surfaces.
The portrait of Geta has been removed as part of the damnatio memoriae following his murder in AD 212.
