CILICIA, Lamus. Valerian I. AD 253-260. Æ (24mm, 7.55 g, 6h). Radiate and draped bust right / Apollo standing left, nude but for cloak over shoulder, holding arrow and bow. Levante, Lamos 3c = SNG Levante 482 (this coin). VF, dark grayish-green, almost black, patina. Rare.

At the time of Levantes study of the coinage of Lamos in 1982, he knew of only ten coins of the city, three of which were in his collection. This is the only type that was represented by more than one specimen.
