New Kingdom. Circa 1550-1075 BC. Steatite scarab (15x11mm). Back carved with a smaller scarab on top of a larger one. Base depicts a baboon holding a nfr. For a similar back, cf. NFA 205-7; Matouk 1265-7; for base, Basel pl. 81, 720. Chipped, once glazed, pierced for mounting.
