LOCAL ISSUES, Silk Road Region. 7th-8th centuries AD. AV Bracteate (25mm, 2.49 g). Bust right, wearing large earring; pellets behind, uncertain symbol before; all within double border of pellets / Incuse of obverse. Cf. Göbl, Dokumente pl. 87, B2. VF, slightly wavy, pierced twice. An interesting piece.
