THESSALY, Larissa. Circa 440-400 BC. AR Trihemiobol (13mm, 0.94 g, 6h). Small, round shield with dotted border, having as a central device a bull’s hoof to right; all within circle of dots / Λ-[A] above, the nymph Larissa striding left, bouncing ball with right hand; all within shallow incuse square. BCD Thessaly II 365.1 (same dies). Near VF, toned, reverse corroded. Very rare.
