THESSALY, Larissa. Circa 440-400 BC. AR Trihemiobol (14mm, 1.31 g, 12h). Horseman, wearing petasos and chlamys, riding right, holding two spears; ΟΠ below / ΛA-P-[I], the nymph Larissa seated right on chair with back terminating in swan’s head, bouncing a ball with raised left hand, holding a hoop in left; all within shallow incuse square. BCD Thessaly II 360.3 (same dies). Fine, toned, porous.
