Late period. Circa 664-342. Naturalistic steatite scarab with falcon head (14x9mm). Base carved with realistic features, while the back is unusually decorated bearing the head of the falcon God Horus. Cf. Ben Tor, p. 78, 16. Crude workmanship. Rare.
