2nd Intermediate Period. Circa 1650-1550 BC. Steatite scarab (16x12mm). Base carved with a sedge and a bee on top, representing the King of Upper and Lower Egypt and a falcon over a neb basket, flanked by Maat feathers. Minor chips at base, pierced for mounting.
