Second Intermediate Period. Circa 1650-1550 BC. Steatite scarab (16x12mm). Base engraved with a coiled cord pattern. Cf. Niccacci 285. Slightly chipped at mount’s mouth from mount removal, once glazed, pierced for mounting. Nicely decorated back.
