ATTICA, Athens. Circa 353-294 BC. AR Tetradrachm (20mm, 17.06 g, 8h). Helmeted head of Athena right, with profile eye / Owl standing right, head facing; olive sprig and crescent behind; all within incuse square. Kroll 15; SNG Copenhagen 63. VF, toned, struck from a worn obverse die, filled test cut on reverse.

The final two letters of the ethnic appear to form a pendant shape. While possibly indicative of an imitation, this variation is more likely a result of die deterioration.
