ATTICA, Athens. Circa 454-404 BC. AR Tetradrachm (24mm, 16.85 g, 9h). Helmeted head of Athena right / Owl standing right, head facing; olive sprig and crescent behind; all within incuse square. Kroll 8; SNG Copenhagen 31. Near VF, porous surfaces, two countermarks on obverse, grafitti on reverse, test cuts on both sides.

The countermark on the cheek is interesting in that it replicates the reverse of the famous Athenian type.
