SYRTICA, Lepti Minus. Divus Julius Caesar. Died 44 BC. Æ As (28mm, 12.76 g, 5h). Struck under Augustus, circa 10-8 BC(?). Diademed head of Caesar right / Bust of Mercury left, wearing petasus; caduceus at shoulder, A below. MAA 72; RPC I 787. Fair, brown patina with red deposits, light surface cracks running nearly the length of flan. Extremely rare.
