MACEDON, Akanthos. Circa 470-390 BC. AR Tetrobol (15mm, 2.20 g). Forepart of bull left, head right; swastika above / Quadripartite incuse square with granulated recesses. SNG ANS 40. Near VF.
The control mark above the bull is nearly entirely obscured by a large patch of die rust, but there are traces of what may be an arm of a swastika. The attribution is, however, conjectural.
