SICILY, Selinos. Circa 455-409 BC. AR Tetradrachm (30mm, 17.06 g, 11h). Artemis driving quadriga left, holding reins; Apollo beside her, drawing bow / River god Selinos, nude, standing left, holding phiale over canopied altar and cradling filleted palm branch; to left, rooster standing left before altar; to right, selinon leaf above bull standing left on basis. Schwabacher 35 (Q1/S6); SNG ANS 688 (same obv. die). VF, toned, irregular spot on edge, large obverse die break in exergue.
