CARTHAGE. Circa 201-175 BC. Æ 15 Shekels (45mm, 78.50 g, 12h). Wreathed head of Tanit left / Horse standing right; uraeus above, pellet-in-circle below. MAA 104; SNG Copenhagen 400. Fine, rough brown surfaces, small scattered spots of active corrosion around edge. The largest of the Carthaginian bronzes. Very rare.
