Augustus. 27 BC-AD 14. AR Denarius (19mm, 3.97 g). Rome mint. L. Caninius Gallus, moneyer. Struck 12 BC. Bare head right / German warrior kneeling right, presenting vexillum. RIC I 416; BMCRE 127; RSC 383. Good VF, nicely toned, obverse banker’s mark, flan a touch short.
