GAUL, Lugdunum. Octavian, with Julius Caesar. 36 BC. Æ Dupondius (17.78 g, 5h). Laureate head of Julius Caesar left and bare head of Octavian right; palm between / Prow of quinquereme right, decorated with eye and dolphin; star on globe and meta above; [CO]PIA in exergue. RPC I 515; Lyon 7; CNR I 22/3 (this coin). Good VF, dark brown patina, flan chipped in antiquity.
