Bank of England issue. Dated 1804. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right; C.H.K on truncation / Britannia seated left, leaning on shield set on cornucopia, holding branch and spear; bee hive before, K below, (at shield); all within crowned oval frame; date below. ESC 144; SCBC 3768. VF, toned, most of edge smooth, but clearly overstruck on a Charles III 8 Real, of uncertain date and mint // The second piece is a silver washed base metal counterfeit, probably cast, of the same types (no evidence of an undertype on this). Nice Fine, most silvering remains, edge plain, with some filing. 2 coins in lot.
