God ordered honesty, and ordered the manufacture of one quarter qist, al-Qasim bin ‘Ubayd Allah. At the hands of Muslim bin al-’Arraf. Year nineteen and one hundred.” Balog 182. Olive-green glass, irregularities in the glass.

These weights were attached to glass vessels of a standard measure, to verify the amount of goods traded in the marketplace. The qist was a unit of weight of about 1086 grams.
