GREEK. Magna Graecia & Sicily. Terracotta Wheel-Made Kalathos. Circa 4th-3rd Centuries BC. (2.3” X 3” / 5.8 x 7.8 cm). Inverted, truncated cone with everted rim, decorated with ribbed decorations. Unlike elaborately painted burial types, this example is a utilitarian object for daily use . Intact, a couple of time chips likely from the time it was made.
