GOTT MIT UNS, German knight on charging horse right; 1914/15 in exergue / German imperial regalia set on cushion; before, crossed swords with laurel and oak branches intertwined; (BHM) below; radiance from clouds above; below, ER HILFT DIR DURCH/(three bars) DARUM HINDURCH (three bars)/· DEIN GOTT IST DEINE BURG · (He helps yo through – that is why throughout – your God is your fortress) in three lines; Iron Cross below.
