Cista mystica with serpent; all within ivy wreath / Two serpents entwined around bow and bowcase; above, ATPA monogram; Q to left, serpent-entwined staff to right. Stumpf 3; Kleiner, Hoard –; SNG BN 1766-8 (Pergamon); Metcalf, “A Note on the Later Republican Cistophori,” SNR 88 (2009), pp. 205-8, pl. 15. Lightly toned, minor porosity, edge pinched, areas of weak strike on both sides. Good VF.
