Ex Cora Witten Collection.

Cora Witten was the widow of book and antiquity dealer Laurence Claiborne Witten, II (1926-1995). In Greek and Roman Egyptian dowries, gold jewelry was recorded in terms of its net gold weight, with no mention of artistic quality.
