BYZANTINE & ISLAMIC. Bronze weights. 5th–10th centuries(?). Includes: BYZANTINE. Æ Nomisma Weight. (19mm, 5.77 g). Engraved N, with cross and ornamental sprays. Cf. Bendall, Weights 149 // ISLAMIC. Polyhedronal Æ Weight (30.18 g). Most sides decorated with five pellets in a rectangular punch and four circular punches. Both intact, with earthen green patina. Two (2) weights in lot. LOT SOLD AS IS, NO RETURNS.
