Claudius II Gothicus. AD 268-270. Antoninianus (18mm, 3.36 g, 12h). Siscia mint, 2nd officina. Struck end AD 269. Radiate, heroic bust left, with cross belt, seen from behind, holding shield over left shoulder and spear forward with right hand / Spes standing left, holding up flower and raising hem of dress; II to left. RIC V 191 var. (bust type); Normanby 1089; CNG E-451, lot 400 var. (bust type, same reverse die) . Dark green-brown patina, a little off center, obverse metal flaw, softly struck on the reverse.
