POTTERY. Magna Graecia. Apulia. 6th-4th Cent. BCE. (38 mm tall x 145 mm wide). A shallow dish with flat foot and slight rise to the bowl. The straight lip features two piercings at one side, for suspension. Lines form simple bichrome designs at foot and mid-point as well as lip externally; internally, a series of concentric circles in the center of the dish present. Minor loss of glazing in places. Intact and attractive. |
