Aurelian. AD 270-275. Antoninianus (22mm, 3.18 g, 6h). Cyzicus mint, 1st officina. 2nd emission, early AD 271. Radiate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Neptune standing left, holding small dolphin in right hand and trident in left, right foot on prow. RIC V Online 2886.4 (this coin cited and illustrated; also illustrated as the primary example) RIC V 324; BN –. Toned partial silvering and dark brown patina, slight area of roughness. Good VF. Extremely rare, only five examples in RIC V Online. This the finest example known.
