Vespasian. AD 69-79. Æ Sestertius (35.5mm, 25.23 g, 6h). Rome mint. Struck AD 71. Laureate bust right, slight drapery / Roma standing left, holding Victory and spear. RIC II.1 105 (R3). Glossy green and brown patina, smoothing, die shift on obverse. VF. Very rare. When Carradice and Buttrey revised RIC II.1 they only knew of one example.
