POTTERY. Greek Southern Italian Colonies. c. 4th-3rd Cent. BCE. (65 mm tall x 40 mm wide). A miniature Oinochoe with a flat foot that meets a body that widens and then tapers again into a squat neck. The lip is flared and then pinched to form a spout. A single handle extends from the lip to the wide of the body. On the body of the vessel, a design is present on half the body in two sections. Below, v chevrons face to the left, a top, a running Z pattern. All bordered with double lines. Chips at spout but minor. Otherwise an attractive little piece with fairly strong paint.
