POTTERY. Greek Southern Italian Colonies. c. 4th-3rd Cent. BCE. (100 mm tall x 45 mm wide). A simple Lekythos rebuilt from fragments. A wide small foot meets a very tapered, elongated body that squares off abruptly into a neck and slightly flared lip. A single handle extends from the top of the neck to the flat of the body. A simple design of vertical lines surrounds the flat portion of the body. Some patinization present. Spout and handle reassembled. Minor loss to spout. Some paint wear from use.
