Northern France, Paris. Circa 1460 AD. Leaf (3.74”x4.53”). Medieval Book of Hours. Illuminated leaf containing prayers. With ornate floral decoration at borders on one side and around capital letters. From a prayer book worthy of someone of some means for the time. Gold, yellow, red, rose, blue, white and green illumination. Ink intact. Slight browning at edge, slight wrinkle, faint spacing markings visible, old code penciled in at lower margin. Good VF.
