KINGS of THRACE, Macedonian. Lysimachos. 305-281 BC. AR Tetradrachm (28mm, 17.03 g, 9h). Uncertain mint. Diademed head of the deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon / Athena Nikephoros seated left, resting arm on round shield set on ground; spear in background, Ξ to inner left, M on throne. Thompson –; Müller –; cf. HGC 3, 1750 (for type); Armenak 954 (same dies). Lightly toned, some marks and die flaw on obverse. Good VF. Very rare, only one in CoinArchives (Künker 376, lot 4443 = Künker 295, lot 234 = Sternberg XVIII, lot 64).
