POTTERY. Greek Southern Italian Colonies. c. 4th-3rd Cent. BCE. (35 mm tall x 180 mm wide). A decorated plate with a squat foot. Centrally, a lady of fashion faces left. She is bordered by a series of bands, including single lines and a line of wave like shapes. The most outer band on the plate shows an ivy pattern. The lip is decorated with small vertical lines. Reassembled from several pieces. The paint appears to be all original and quite vibrant, especially inside the bowl. Attractive even with the reassembly. Website shipping rates do not apply.
